About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level position where you will play a vital role in transforming raw information into actionable business insights. You will work closely with our engineering and analytics teams to refine our data processes and contribute to the development of sophisticated models that drive our business forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex, large-scale datasets using Python and PySpark to uncover trends and extract meaningful insights.
- Design and implement robust data models that align with business requirements and support informed decision-making.
- Develop and deploy machine learning algorithms to solve specific challenges within our marketing and sales operations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset. We require the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional Python coding experience, including a solid grasp of data structures and software development standards.
- A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience processing large datasets with PySpark.
- Mandatory proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques, such as dimensional or entity-relationship modeling.
- Familiarity with Salesforce data models for Marketing and Sales Cloud, as well as experience with Salesforce APIs.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present technical findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster is highly valued.
Location
This position is based in Spain and requires an on-site presence.
