What you bring

We are seeking a Lead Java Full-stack Developer to join us on a part-time, remote basis. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, ensuring that our digital products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This role is open to candidates located anywhere. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Leading the development team in designing, building, and maintaining backend, frontend, and mobile applications.
• Collaborating closely with product managers to define technical roadmaps and prioritize essential tasks.
• Overseeing the implementation of critical features, such as Stripe integrations and registration systems, while ensuring the platform remains secure and scalable.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an independent problem solver with a strong sense of ownership and excellent communication skills in English. You should have at least four years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Postgres, along with a solid background in frontend technologies like Next.js, React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS. We look for individuals who are comfortable with mobile development using Flutter and who possess a strong grasp of AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. Because this position is part of our emergency management team, high availability and a meticulous attention to detail are mandatory for success in this role.
