The role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Java Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in the United States. You will play a critical role in developing our world-class mobile threat defense solutions, working alongside a team of experts to build secure, scalable, and high-performance software.

Core responsibilities

• Design and code complex application components while following established programming standards and development methodologies.
• Break down technical challenges into actionable software design tasks to ensure we deliver high-quality, maintainable, and unit-tested code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to meet business objectives and participate in daily scrum meetings and planning sessions.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional development experience working with Java, Python, RESTful APIs, and databases.
• Proficiency with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Linux environments, Bash scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.
• A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication skills in English and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team.
