Role at a glance
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Taiwan. We are looking for a mid-level engineer who is ready to contribute to our core backend systems and help us shape the future of our platform.
Your impact
- Work closely with your teammates to design, build, and unit-test new features and system modifications.
- Architect efficient data structures and apply smart design patterns to implement complex business logic.
- Maintain high standards by documenting your source code and creating clear, readable API documentation.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should be a strong communicator who thrives on solving difficult problems. We value independent contributors who can work effectively within a team.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Deep knowledge of JVM-based frameworks like SpringBoot, Jersey, or Ktor.
- Solid experience with Git, GitLab CI, and Maven.
- A strong grasp of distributed architecture, event-driven systems, and message queues like Kafka.
- Practical experience with Redis and relational databases using SQL.
- A firm understanding of data structures and Java concurrency.
- Fluency in English.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Web3, crypto, trading, or additional languages like Kotlin, JavaScript, or Python.
