What you bring
We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join our Mission Control team on a full-time basis. This remote role, based in Hungary, focuses on delivering and enhancing internal administrative functionality for our various product teams. You will collaborate closely with our Governance group to build exceptional user experiences for our internal stakeholders. Your key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining robust internal administrative tools using Java and the Spring Framework.
- Managing data structures and persistence layers using PostgreSQL.
- Implementing and scaling event-driven architectures utilizing Kafka.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a product-oriented professional who thrives in a friendly, supportive environment. We value individuals who are committed to continuous learning and collaborative growth. You should possess strong technical proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and PostgreSQL. Experience with event-driven messaging technologies like Kafka is highly beneficial, as is familiarity with modern DevOps practices, including Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Proficiency in English is required for this role. Please note that this position is exclusively for candidates currently residing in Hungary.
