About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Java Developer to work with us on a full-time basis. This is an on-site position where you will play a vital role in our Bahrain operations, contributing to the development and maintenance of our core technical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-quality code using Java and J2EE frameworks while ensuring adherence to modern web standards.
- Collaborate with our team to architect and deploy microservices within an AWS environment.
- Support the full software development lifecycle by integrating test automation and enhancing the user experience across our platforms.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, we look for candidates who possess the following qualifications and expertise:
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience working with Java, J2EE, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML.
- A university degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant certifications such as OCJP or OCWCD are highly preferred.
- Active AWS certifications, specifically in architecture or development, along with practical knowledge of containerized microservices.
- Experience with mobile development for Android or iOS and a strong understanding of UX/UI principles is considered a significant advantage.
- We prioritize candidates who are Bahraini nationals and those who are fluent in Arabic.
