Role at a glance
We are seeking a Junior IT Tech Support Specialist I to join our IT Service Operations team on a full-time, on-site basis. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our users, acting as the face of technology for our company. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about solving problems and providing excellent service to our internal customers.
Your impact
- You will be the first line of defense for our users, investigating and resolving hardware and software issues to keep our team productive.
- You will take ownership of our technology assets, managing the imaging, distribution, and organization of company devices.
- You will contribute to our collective knowledge by documenting workarounds and procedures, while helping us refine our service operations through consistent ticket management.
What you'll need
- A High School Diploma and up to two years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- A working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Active Directory.
- A detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to high-quality customer service.
- The flexibility to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, which may include occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The ability to travel up to 25% of the time to our manufacturing sites across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast United States.
