Second Dinner is an award-winning independent game development studio behind the hit title MARVEL SNAP. We are currently working on several secret projects and are looking for a motivated IT Systems Specialist to join our high-impact team. Our IT strategy centers on self-enablement, automation, and robust risk management, and we are seeking someone who is eager to grow their technical skills while supporting our talented staff.
Key outcomes
- Provide friendly, efficient, and independent frontline support for hardware and software issues to team members, both remotely and in our office.
- Manage and troubleshoot essential tools, including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Unity, Zoom, Atlassian products, and Microsoft 365.
- Support both MacOS and Windows environments by configuring new machines, managing software updates, and overseeing mobile device management platforms like Kandji and Microsoft InTune.
- Maintain accurate hardware and software inventories and develop clear documentation and user guides for our internal processes.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager and the Security and Compliance Manager to implement automation initiatives and support strategic infrastructure projects.
- Maintain a consistent in-office presence of 3 to 4 days per week, providing extra support during team events and high-traffic periods.
Requirements
- Professional experience in a helpdesk or customer support role.
- Working knowledge of both MacOS and Windows operating systems, including basic troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, support processes, and common SaaS applications.
- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented, patient attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs for equipment logistics.
- Fluency in English and legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience with our specific software stack, including Okta, Google Workspace, or Slack.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and IT security best practices.
- Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) systems.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 USD. In addition to the base salary, the role includes equity, potential discretionary performance bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.
