The role
We are searching for a Senior IT Systems Manager to join us on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in the United States that requires occasional travel to our site locations. You will report directly to the EVP of People and Culture, serving as a key technical resource for our organization.
Core responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive tier 1 and 2 help desk support to resolve hardware, software, and network challenges for our staff.
- Maintain the integrity and security of our infrastructure by managing user access, monitoring system performance, and enforcing technical protocols.
- Contribute to our internal and external digital presence by assisting with front-end and back-end development projects.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a commitment to service excellence. We require the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT support, specifically focusing on hardware troubleshooting and help desk operations.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience serving in a senior-level IT capacity.
- Technical proficiency with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, alongside back-end frameworks such as Node.js, Python, or PHP.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems like Zendesk or Jira and a solid understanding of security practices.
Compensation and benefits
