By ensuring our internal infrastructure remains robust and reliable, you will play a vital role in supporting the creative efforts of our developers as we embark on our next ambitious projects.
The role
We are seeking a Senior IT Systems Administrator to join us on a full-time basis. This is an on-site position based in our Kuala Lumpur office, where you will be the primary point of contact for maintaining our local technical environment and supporting our staff. We are looking for someone with extensive experience who can take ownership of our systems while mentoring junior members of the team.
Core responsibilities
- Monitor the health and performance of our servers and critical building systems to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Manage our Windows and Linux environments, including routine maintenance, patching, backups, and the administration of our Intune setup for remote devices.
- Provide hands-on technical support for end users, manage hardware and software onboarding, and collaborate with our global IT team on infrastructure upgrades and large-scale projects.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in IT operations and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We require the following qualifications:
- Proven experience working with ITSM frameworks and managing Windows client and server systems.
- Practical knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, specifically within AWS or Azure environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in Intune deployment and managing virtualized infrastructure.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Office365, and the Atlassian Suite.
- A solid understanding of core networking concepts, such as WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, VPN, and VLAN.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work flexibly during infrastructure migrations or system upgrades.
- Fluency in English to facilitate clear communication with our international teams.
It is a bonus if you have experience with Linux or OpenStack, knowledge of storage and backup concepts, or proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash, or SQL.
Compensation and benefits
We provide a collaborative and creative work environment where your contributions directly impact the success of our studio. While we do not have specific salary figures to list here, we offer the opportunity to work with a world-class team on industry-leading titles in a supportive, high-energy office setting.
How to apply
If you are passionate about technology and want to support the development of some of the most celebrated games in the industry, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application, including your resume and a summary of your relevant experience, to be considered for this position at our Kuala Lumpur studio.
