Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior IT Systems Administrator to join us on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role based at our production facility in Sacramento, California, where you will report to our IT Manager. You will be responsible for the health and performance of our IT infrastructure, ensuring our research and development teams have the reliable systems they need to succeed.

Your impact

• Design, deploy, and maintain our core IT infrastructure, including servers, cloud applications, and network systems.
• Provide expert-level technical support to resolve complex hardware and software issues while monitoring system performance to ensure maximum uptime.
• Create automation scripts and tools to streamline operational workflows and improve the overall efficiency of our IT environment.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in IT systems administration.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Exchange Online, Intune, and SharePoint Online.
• Experience managing Mobile Device Management solutions and Okta application integrations.
• Comfort using scripting languages like Python or PowerShell to automate routine tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
• Fluency in English.
