The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior IT System Specialist to join us on a 3-month contract in the United States. This is an on-site role where you will play a pivotal part in a large-scale migration project. Your primary mission is to help our client move away from their legacy infrastructure, ensuring a smooth transition that allows them to decommission outdated systems once the work is finished. You will be a key partner to our existing staff, providing the technical muscle needed to get this project across the finish line.

A day in the life

• You will lead the migration of approximately 90 applications from a Citrix 7.6 environment to a VMWare Horizon 7.5 environment.
• You will collaborate closely with our current IT team to accelerate the migration timeline, ensuring we can safely shut down the legacy Citrix environment as soon as the project concludes.
• You will provide hands-on assistance to the existing staff, stepping in to help with various technical duties and system tasks as the needs of the project evolve.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with deep experience in IT infrastructure and system migrations. You have a sharp eye for detail and a proven ability to manage complex application environments. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
