At Brainlabs, we are driven by a single, powerful question: what is actually moving the needle on profit? Founded in 2012 by Daniel Gilbert, our agency was built by engineers long before we became a media powerhouse. Today, our team of over 1,000 Brainlabbers spans five continents, utilizing proprietary agents and a vast library of experiments to help brands connect their planning and buying directly to the bottom line. We believe in a culture of winning together, where our people, clients, and profits form a balanced ecosystem that allows everyone to thrive.
The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior IT System Administrator to join us on a contract basis. In this remote role, you will be the backbone of our technical infrastructure, ensuring our global team has the support they need to succeed. You will play a vital role in maintaining our systems, securing our environment, and providing top-tier service to our staff. If you are a problem-solver who enjoys going above and beyond to support your colleagues, you will fit right in with our mission-driven team.
A day in the life
- You will manage essential IT operations, including the maintenance of servers, security tools, email systems, and hardware across both Windows and Apple environments.
- You will act as a primary point of contact for staff, handling IT-related requests and incidents through our ITSM framework while managing the onboarding and offboarding process for new team members.
- You will contribute to the bigger picture by participating in service improvement initiatives, internal audits, and projects designed to strengthen our overall IT security posture.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a deep background in system or network administration. You bring a service-oriented mindset and the ability to communicate clearly in English. Your technical toolkit includes:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Google Workspace, AWS, and Azure.
- Proficiency in managing device fleets using Jamf Pro and Windows Intune.
- Solid knowledge of networking principles, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN, alongside experience in system security and data recovery.
- A knack for troubleshooting and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with bonus points if you have experience in scripting.
- The flexibility to work in rotational shifts covering various time zones, including Australia, Singapore, India, and the US, as business needs arise.
Why you'll love it here
We are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where you can do your best work. As part of our team, you will enjoy the freedom and flexibility of fully remote work. We also believe in transparency and mutual fit, which is why we conduct a comprehensive interview process that includes skills-based discussions, allowing us to get to know each other properly before we begin our journey together.
