IT Support Technician at MPac Langen BV

At Mpac Langen, we specialize in the design and manufacturing of automated packaging machinery for a global client base. We serve diverse sectors within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry, including the healthcare, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical markets. As part of the international Mpac Group, we operate production facilities across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, supported by service offices in Singapore and Thailand. We are currently looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team in the Netherlands on a full-time, on-site basis to ensure our systems and networks remain efficient, secure, and innovative.

Key outcomes

• Manage, configure, and maintain hardware and software, ensuring all systems are updated and optimized.
• Monitor network and system performance to ensure continuous uptime and stability.
• Provide technical support to end users via our helpdesk, including logging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.
• Create and maintain clear documentation regarding IT processes and system configurations.
• Conduct regular security audits and ensure full compliance with our internal IT policies.
• Support users by providing necessary access, training, and clear guidelines for system usage.
• Contribute to various IT projects, including the migration and implementation of new technologies.

Requirements

• A completed MBO degree in IT, system administration, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in a mid-level IT support role with broad responsibilities.
• Strong technical proficiency in network management, hardware, software, and various operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
• Professional fluency in both Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Current residency in the Netherlands.
• Availability to work 36 to 40 hours per week.

Preferred qualifications

• Relevant professional certifications, such as Microsoft Certified IT Professional.

Compensation
