We are currently looking for a motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our employees and consultants, ensuring that our internal technology systems remain efficient and secure. You will play a vital part in maintaining our hardware and software environments while helping our team members get the most out of our digital tools.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming technical requests through various channels like email, chat, and our ticketing system, providing prompt solutions or escalating complex issues to senior staff.
- Handle the setup and configuration of internal hardware, including the deployment of laptops using Windows Autopilot and Intune.
- Perform routine maintenance, software updates, and system backups while documenting solutions to ensure our internal knowledge base remains accurate and helpful.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with one to three years of experience in a help desk or customer service environment.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Azure services is essential for success in this position.
- A solid grasp of security best practices, including experience with tools like BitLocker, BitDefender Gravityzone, and Defender for Endpoint.
- Proficiency with remote support tools such as Connectwise Control and Connectwise Automate.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or other Microsoft credentials are considered a significant advantage.
