Kellytelecom is looking for a IT Support Specialist
Job Description:
•We are looking for an entry level help desk associate to join our IT team and provide technical support to our employees and consultants.
•You will be the first line of support for incoming support requests and escalating requests to proper team members as needed
•You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving various IT issues, such as hardware, software, network, and security problems, using remote or in-person methods.
•You will also assist with installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment and systems, as well as providing training and guidance to users on how to use them.
•To be successful in this role, you should have 0-2 years of relevant IT experience, familiarity with Microsoft 365 and/or Azure, good soft skills, ability to learn, and understanding of security best practices.
Responsibilities
•Respond to IT requests and inquiries from employees and customers via phone, email, chat, or ticket system.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, such as password resets, software installation, network connectivity, hardware malfunctions, etc.
•Provide remote or in-person support, depending on the situation and the user's preference.
oIn-person support may be required for some COE support
oConnectwise Control for remote support
•Responsible for internal laptop setup process for COE-based staff
oWindows Autopilot + Intune
•Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff or external vendors, as needed.
•Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and systems, such as laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, phones, etc.
•Perform regular backups, updates, and maintenance of IT systems and software.
•Provide training and guidance to users on how to use IT equipment and systems, such as Microsoft 365 and/or Azure applications, email, VPN, etc.
•Document IT issues, solutions, and procedures in a clear and concise manner.
•Follow security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT systems and data.
•Stay updated on the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices.
