Are you ready to dive into the world of IT infrastructure and master the systems that power modern cloud environments? We are looking for a dedicated apprentice to join our team as an IT Specialist for System Integration starting August 1, 2026. This three-year contract position is based at our office in the Düsseldorf Media Harbor. At Peopleware, we have spent over 30 years building cloud-based SaaS solutions for workforce management and digital education. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with experienced system engineers to manage and maintain the infrastructure supporting our SaaS products.
- Gain practical experience in operating and monitoring servers, networks, container environments, and cloud systems.
- Apply a wide range of technologies, including Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, virtualization, and network security, while utilizing automation tools like Ansible and shell scripting.
Requirements
- A genuine passion for IT infrastructure, complex networks, and technical systems.
- Previous hands-on experience, such as building PCs, setting up small networks, or working on personal server projects.
- Strong analytical skills and a natural curiosity for solving technical challenges.
- A sense of responsibility and a desire to keep systems stable, secure, and running efficiently.
- The ability to thrive in an international team environment and communicate effectively in German.
