At Sojern we believe travel brings people together, and we build smart digital tools that help hotels, attractions, and tourism boards connect directly with travelers. Our team of colleagues across 14 countries uses machine learning and real-time data to drive bookings and long-term growth for thousands of clients worldwide. We are now looking for someone to join our IT operations and keep our people productive every day.
What is this role?
This is a full-time, junior-level IT Service Desk Analyst position. The role is hybrid, with two or three days each week spent in our Dublin office and the rest worked remotely. You will report to the Director of IT Operations and support a mid-sized user base across our global offices.
What will you do?
- Handle day-to-day service-desk requests by setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting Apple MacBooks along with a smaller number of Windows 11 devices, while also managing A/V equipment and office technology on-site.
- Administer core business platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira, and coordinate the global procurement, provisioning, and asset tracking of employee equipment.
- Prioritize incoming tickets, deliver technology training, and work with external vendors to keep IT operations running smoothly and securely.
What makes you a great fit?
You will bring one to two years of hands-on experience in an IT technician or service-desk setting, or you may be a recent graduate eager to start your career in technology support. Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Salesforce, and endpoint-management tools such as Jamf or Mosyle is important, as is practical experience configuring and troubleshooting macOS, iOS, and Windows devices. You should also feel comfortable managing projects, working with third-party vendors, and tracking hardware assets and inventory. Clear written and spoken English, excellent customer-service skills, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-moving environment will help you succeed. Because the role is hybrid, you must be able to commute to our Dublin office two or three days a week.
What's in it for you?
We offer a whole-person benefits program designed to help you thrive both at work and outside of it. You will receive competitive compensation along with stock options, a learning-and-development stipend, and up to 40 hours of paid volunteer time each year. Our flexibility options include hybrid or remote arrangements for most roles, Flexi-Fridays, and time-zone-friendly hours. Wellbeing support covers generous PTO, comprehensive healthcare, 16 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents and 12 weeks for non-birthing parents, retirement contributions, travel perks, and mental-health resources. You will also receive a home-office technology setup plus monthly allowances for internet and phone, and you can take part in annual team offsites, six employee resource groups, and regular company-wide events that keep us connected.
