We are currently looking for a dedicated IT Security Manager to join our team in Washington, DC, in a hybrid capacity. This role requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DOD Top Secret clearance to support our critical operations.

What you'll be doing

• You will lead a team of security professionals, providing guidance to senior leadership regarding potential threats while proposing policy changes to minimize organizational risk.
• You will oversee the daily operations of our security assets, ensuring a robust defense in depth model is maintained through the configuration and management of various cybersecurity tools.
• You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing security metrics, managing vulnerability remediation plans, and ensuring all system reporting deadlines are met with precision.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in information security and leadership. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 10 years of total IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years in information security and 3 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
• An active CISSP certification and a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Technical proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, Tenable, BigFix, and Crowdstrike, including the ability to generate reports and dashboards.
• A deep understanding of NIST 800-53 and other federal cybersecurity regulatory guidelines.
• The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Fluency in English.

What you'll get
