About the Role
We are looking for a Senior IT & Security Lead to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal role where you will define and execute our corporate IT and security strategy. You will work closely with our operations and engineering teams to ensure our infrastructure is secure, scalable, and user-friendly. This position offers a unique chance to shape the foundational security and IT practices of a fast-growing company while ensuring our systems effectively support our long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage our internal IT systems, including hardware and software provisioning, cloud service administration, and employee onboarding support.
- Lead our internal security operations, which includes conducting risk assessments, managing threat detection and incident response, and overseeing vulnerability management.
- Partner with company leadership to develop and execute major security initiatives while ensuring ongoing compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in IT and security within a high-performing software organization.
- Deep subject matter expertise in IT governance, risk, and compliance, alongside a strong background in ITIL, project management, and IT service delivery.
- Proven experience building and implementing cloud-based systems that prioritize data privacy and information security.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent our security function professionally to external partners and customers.
- A high-velocity mindset with the ability to make effective tradeoffs between speed and quality.
Location
This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated annual cash salary for this position is $160,000 - 210,000 USD. In addition to this compensation, we offer the flexibility of remote work.
