We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our team as an IT Project Manager. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical infrastructure and strategic business goals, ensuring our most critical projects are delivered with precision and excellence.
Role at a glance
This is a full-time, senior-level position based on-site in Bulgaria. You will report directly to the Head of IT and take ownership of complex infrastructure projects, managing them from initial planning through to deployment and operational support. We are looking for someone who can navigate global business environments and lead virtual teams to success.
Your impact
- Take full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of strategic IT projects, ensuring they remain on schedule, within budget, and meet all quality specifications.
- Act as the primary interface between our internal teams and external vendors, fostering strong relationships to ensure seamless coordination and optimal project outcomes.
- Oversee the transition of completed projects into business-as-usual operations, ensuring all documentation, service catalogues, and support procedures are fully updated.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should possess a deep technical understanding of data, applications, and infrastructure, combined with a proven track record in the financial services industry. We require the following qualifications and expertise:
- A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Systems.
- Professional certifications including PRINCE2 or PMP, as well as Agile/Scrum Master credentials.
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in IT project management, specifically focusing on infrastructure.
- A solid working knowledge of ITIL v3 Foundation.
- Technical familiarity with Windows Server, Virtualisation, Oracle, and MS SQL Server.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
