The opportunity
We are seeking an IT Onsite Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Dallas. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will serve as a key player in maintaining the technology that keeps our business running smoothly. You will be responsible for ensuring our user-facing technology is reliable and efficient, directly supporting our finance and technology experts as they deliver value to our clients. You will be the go-to person for our Dallas office, ensuring that our hardware and software environments remain best-in-class.
A day in the life
- You will be the primary point of contact for resolving technical issues reported by our team, whether they come through via email, phone, or a quick conversation in the office.
- You will manage the full lifecycle of hardware and software, from installing and configuring laptops and peripherals to diagnosing complex operating system issues.
- You will maintain our high standards of service by documenting all requests in our ticketing system and creating helpful knowledge base articles to empower our users.
Who you are
You are a mid-level professional with a strong technical background and a passion for helping others. You communicate clearly in English and have a knack for solving problems in a fast-paced setting. Your background includes:
- Proven experience in a desktop support role, ideally supported by certifications like CompTIA A+ or Microsoft credentials.
- Deep familiarity with Microsoft Windows and MacOS environments.
- Hands-on experience managing Active Directory, the Microsoft Office Suite, and general networking protocols.
- A customer-oriented mindset that allows you to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining a high quality of work.
