IT Manager at Quantum-Si

Role at a glance

This is a full-time, on-site position based in San Diego, California. As a manager, you will report directly to the Senior Director of Information Technology and oversee our computing infrastructure across our various locations. You will be responsible for both high-level strategy and the day-to-day technical support that keeps our operations seamless.

• Lead and mentor: You will recruit, train, and coach our IT staff to ensure they are equipped to provide top-tier support to our end users.
• Optimize infrastructure: You will oversee the maintenance and implementation of our computing systems, ensuring that every employee has the tools they need to succeed.
• Drive security and compliance: You will safeguard our data integrity and network access while ensuring our systems remain fully SOX compliant.

What you'll need

We are looking for someone with a strong technical background and a passion for establishing best practices. You should have at least 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure and end-user support, along with 4 years of management experience.

• Technical mastery: You should be highly proficient with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and managing both Mac and PC endpoints.
• Security focus: Experience with SSO, MFA, and MDM is essential, as is a background in SOX compliance and GRC.
• Application experience: Hands-on experience with NetSuite is required to help us maintain our critical enterprise applications.
• Communication: You must be an excellent communicator who can collaborate across departments and champion our internal IT policies.
• Physical requirements: You should be comfortable lifting and carrying standard IT equipment like servers and monitors.

Perks and compensation

The estimated base salary for this position is $115,000 to $135,000. In addition to your base pay, all full-time employees are eligible for our discretionary bonus program and equity as part of their total compensation package.
