Coast is transforming the trillion-dollar B2B card payments infrastructure within the United States. We focus on serving the country’s 500,000 commercial fleets, 10 million commercial vehicles, and 4 million commercial drivers. By replacing outdated legacy technologies with modern digital experiences, we provide transparent and affordable financial products to an industry that has long been underserved. Led by Daniel Simon, who previously cofounded the successful payments firm Bread, we have secured $165 million in equity funding from prominent venture capital firms and industry-leading angel investors. As we scale past our first 100 employees, we are looking for a dedicated IT Manager to build and evolve our internal systems.
Key outcomes
- Minimize daily helpdesk manual tasks through the implementation of automation and infrastructure improvements.
- Manage all office technology requirements across our New York City and Salt Lake City locations, ranging from A/V and internet connectivity to hardware procurement.
- Take full ownership of our MDM, laptop, mobile, and operating system stack for our entire workforce.
- Oversee IT vendor relationships, including ISPs, MSPs, and VoIP providers, while managing associated budgets.
- Lead our IT security initiatives in close collaboration with our compliance department.
- Define and cultivate the internal IT culture as our company continues to grow.
Requirements
- Three to five or more years of experience working in smaller, fast-paced companies where you have managed a variety of responsibilities.
- Strong familiarity with the enterprise Apple ecosystem and at least one MDM platform.
- Experience working with IdP stacks such as Okta.
- Proficiency in networking concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and DNS.
- Experience with modern productivity suites like Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of enterprise email infrastructure, specifically regarding routing, deliverability, and reputation management.
- A proven ability to automate workflows and a pragmatic, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Exceptional diligence in designing business processes and operational workflows.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service with a patient, helpful attitude.
- The ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a high-energy environment.
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $110,000 annually, supplemented by a signing bonus and an equity grant that reflects our early-stage growth potential. Our benefits package is designed to support your health, financial well-being, and professional development.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Flexible paid time off for vacation, personal well-being, and holidays.
- Paid maternity and paternity leave.
- Financial wellness resources, including company-sponsored 401k plans and equity tax advisory services.
- An education stipend to support your ongoing learning.
- A $400 home office budget for equipment such as keyboards, mice, or headphones.
- Free lunch provided every Friday.
