The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead our internal technology operations. In this full-time, remote role, you will be the backbone of our infrastructure, ensuring that our systems remain secure, compliant, and highly efficient. You will play a vital role in shaping how our team works by managing everything from software procurement and vendor relationships to the critical onboarding and offboarding processes that keep our company secure. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to implement tools that drive productivity and innovation across our growing organization.
A day in the life
- Oversee the reliability and security of our internal technology systems, ensuring we maintain strict compliance with industry standards like SOC2 and HITRUST.
- Manage the full lifecycle of our IT assets, including software procurement, hardware inventory, and the implementation of robust security policies such as multi-factor authentication and endpoint protection.
- Lead our IT help desk efforts by providing technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and developing self-service documentation to empower our team members.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a deep background in IT management, specifically within midsize SaaS environments. You possess a strong technical foundation and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues. Your profile includes:
- At least 5 years of experience in IT operations and management.
- Expert-level proficiency in macOS, Windows, and Linux environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud-based administration tools, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Slack, Atlassian, and Gitlab.
- A solid understanding of IT security frameworks and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
