The role
We are looking for an IT Manager to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity within the United States. This is a management-level position that requires a strategic thinker who can lead our internal technology operations. You will play a pivotal role in transitioning our IT support from a third-party provider to an in-house model, establishing the protocols and policies that will define our future technical landscape.
Core responsibilities
- Lead the transition from our current third-party IT provider to an in-house support model while overseeing our hardware, software, networking, and security infrastructure.
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT policies and procedures to ensure our systems remain efficient, secure, and aligned with company goals.
- Partner with department heads and external vendors to manage IT projects, negotiate contracts, and maintain robust disaster recovery plans.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in IT management and a proven ability to lead technical projects. We are looking for someone who possesses:
- Extensive experience in an IT management or similar leadership role, specifically with infrastructure and project oversight.
- Deep knowledge of computer systems, networking, software management, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with the ability to communicate effectively across different departments.
- Experience managing IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Fluency in English to facilitate clear communication with our team and partners.
Compensation and benefits
We are committed to supporting our employees both professionally and personally. Our benefits package includes:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- A 401k plan with company matching.
- Generous paid time off.
- Pre-tax commuter benefits.
- Opportunities for professional development.
How to apply
If you are passionate about technology and want to help us build a more connected world, we would love to hear from you. We value authenticity and celebrate the unique perspectives of our team members. Even if you do not meet every single qualification listed, we encourage you to apply if you believe you would thrive in this environment and share our mission.
