At Pair Team, we are transforming the healthcare landscape for the millions of Americans who rely on Medicaid, Medicare, and public assistance. We believe that true health is about more than just medical care. It is deeply connected to access to stable housing, nutritious food, and reliable transportation. As an AI-enabled medical group and public benefit corporation, we partner with community organizations to provide comprehensive, whole-person care. We are currently the largest complex care provider in California, and as we continue our national expansion, we are looking for a dedicated professional to help us build the infrastructure that makes our mission possible.
About the Role
We are seeking an IT Lead to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be the primary owner of our internal IT systems, ensuring that our technology stack is secure, efficient, and scalable. You will work closely with our engineering, operations, and leadership teams to build foundational IT processes from the ground up, helping us maintain our rapid growth while keeping our systems reliable and secure.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of our IT environment, including vendor management, employee onboarding, and security protocols.
- Optimize and manage our core SaaS stack and HRIS systems to ensure they are clean, efficient, and secure.
- Develop and implement essential IT workflows, such as device management, security policies, and incident response procedures.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have 7 to 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 to 3 years in a lead or architect-level capacity, ideally within a high-growth startup environment. You must have a strong technical foundation and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams. Key qualifications include:
- Hands-on experience with device management, SaaS administration, SSO, and HRIS platforms like Rippling.
- Proven success in vendor selection, contract negotiation, and managing relationships with MSP partners.
- Experience implementing practical security controls and guiding compliance readiness, such as SOC 2 or HIPAA.
- A demonstrated track record of leading incident response and performing root cause analysis.
- The ability to bridge the gap between technical requirements and business needs, working cross-functionally with teams like Finance, Legal, and People Ops.
Location
This is a remote position, and you may work from anywhere.
