IT Infrastructure Engineer III at Prometheus Real Estate Group

We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer III to join our team in a hybrid capacity to help shape our technical strategy and ensure the reliability of our enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee enterprise-wide infrastructure, including data centers, virtualization, storage, and networking.
• Lead major technical initiatives such as WAN redesigns, VMware modernization, and the adoption of new enterprise SaaS solutions.
• Define infrastructure standards, technical policies, and long-term roadmaps that align with our business objectives.
• Act as a primary escalation point for critical infrastructure incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent remediations.
• Optimize system performance and availability while ensuring seamless integration with our business-critical applications.
• Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, system diagrams, and executive-level reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional training sessions to share technical knowledge across the organization.

Must-haves

• At least 7 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, technology, or a related field.
• Expertise in Windows Server architecture, Active Directory forest design, and GPO strategy.
• Senior-level proficiency in enterprise networking.
• Advanced skills in designing and optimizing VMware clusters and storage platforms.
• Proven experience leading large-scale migrations or multi-site infrastructure rollouts.
• Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• A Master’s degree in a related field.
• Advanced industry certifications such as VMware VCIX or VCDX, Cisco CCIE, Microsoft Expert-level credentials, or CISSP.

The annual salary range for this position is $144,000.00 to $171,000.00, supplemented by a discretionary annual bonus plan.
