Since 1995, we have utilized market-based programs to provide performance-driven solutions for our government, utility, and institutional clients. We are currently searching for a Mid-Level IT Helpdesk Technician to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for technical support, ensuring our staff has the equipment and software access they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial contact for all IT support requests, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues for both local and remote team members.
- Manage the lifecycle of IT equipment, which includes physical setup, tracking inventory, shipping hardware to employees, and repurposing devices from former staff.
- Maintain and troubleshoot audio and visual equipment in our conference rooms while documenting all support activities within our ticketing system.
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant field or at least 2 years of professional experience in IT support services.
- Foundational knowledge of Windows and Mac OS X environments.
- A solid understanding of networking principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- The ability to work independently and communicate effectively with internal clients.
