The opportunity
As a Senior IT Helpdesk Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our technology environment remains stable, performant, and accessible. You will act as the primary point of contact for technical issues, balancing the need for quick, effective troubleshooting with the ability to manage complex projects. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hybrid environment and enjoys being the go-to person for technical guidance, system integrity, and process improvement across our growing organization.
A day in the life
- Provide expert-level remote support to our end users, managing everything from initial troubleshooting to resolving complex technical requests through our Jira Service Desk.
- Take ownership of user lifecycle management, including provisioning accounts in Active Directory and Office 365, as well as conducting remote onboarding sessions for new hires to ensure their devices are perfectly configured.
- Maintain the health of our hardware fleet by coordinating with vendors, tracking inventory levels, and managing the logistics of equipment deployment and returns for our staff.
Who you are
You are a seasoned IT professional with a knack for organization and a passion for helping others. You communicate clearly, whether you are writing a knowledge base article or guiding a junior team member through a difficult technical hurdle. You are comfortable working independently but also know how to contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere. Your technical toolkit includes:
- Deep proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, and Google workspace environments.
- Strong experience supporting Windows, Mac, and iOS platforms.
- A solid background in ITSM practices and ticketing systems like Jira Service Desk.
- Fluency in English, with the interpersonal skills necessary to handle client and staff concerns with patience and professionalism.
