The opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated IT Helpdesk Specialist to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in Canada. This role is vital to our daily operations, as you will be the primary point of contact for our employees regarding their technical needs. You will bridge the gap between our complex software environment and the people who use it every day, ensuring that our systems remain secure, updated, and fully functional. Whether you are solving immediate technical hurdles or proactively maintaining our infrastructure, your work will directly support our mission to lead the market in automotive AI.
A day in the life
- You will act as the first line of support for our team, resolving technical issues via phone, email, or chat while guiding users through effective troubleshooting steps.
- You will manage the health of our environment by performing hardware and software upgrades, maintaining network security, and ensuring our backup systems are running smoothly.
- You will contribute to our operational excellence by documenting resolutions, identifying areas for procedural improvements, and providing training to staff on new equipment and software.
Who you are
You are a tech-savvy professional with one to three years of experience in a helpdesk or customer support role. You have a solid grasp of computer systems and mobile devices, and you feel comfortable working as a Level 1 or 2 technician. To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:
- Proficiency in Windows 10, Windows 11, Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam.
- Excellent communication skills in English and a customer-oriented, calm approach to problem-solving.
- A willingness to travel between our Montreal and Quebec locations for about 5 to 10 percent of your time.
- A Network+ or A+ certification would be considered a great asset.
