IT Event Support Technician at Hollywood Park

What you'll be doing

• You will provide hands-on technical support to end users, ensuring that hardware and software systems are running smoothly across our campus.
• You will play a vital role during our high-profile events and game days, assisting with the technology needed to keep our operations seamless.
• You will manage the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of various devices, including computers, mobile hardware, and network peripherals, while documenting your progress in our tracking system.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in technology and a passion for solving complex problems. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A solid understanding of hardware, software, and basic networking concepts like switches, ports, and wireless connectivity.
• Proficiency with GSuite products and the ability to communicate technical information clearly in both written and verbal formats.
• A professional work ethic and the flexibility to work 20 to 24 hours per week, including evenings and weekends to support our event schedule.
• Fluency in English to effectively interact with our staff and guests.

What you'll get

For this part-time, on-site position, we offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $40,000 to $44,000 annually, depending on your specific experience and credentials. You will have the unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, iconic environment where your contributions directly impact the guest experience at one of the most significant urban developments in the Western United States.
