About the Role
We are seeking a Mid-Level IT Engineer to join our team in a Full Time capacity. This is a foundational role where you will be our first dedicated hire for IT and Security. You will have the unique opportunity to build our infrastructure from the ground up, establish best practices, and partner with various departments to drive our security initiatives forward. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys wearing many hats and is eager to grow alongside a rapidly expanding company.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement internal IT processes that empower our teams to work efficiently while utilizing top-tier technology solutions.
- Oversee our software stack by managing access, ensuring proper configuration, and maintaining a strong security posture across all tools.
- Collaborate with HR and engineering teams to develop a seamless onboarding experience while ensuring all security protocols are consistently applied.
Requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in IT and Security, preferably within a remote-first SaaS startup environment.
- Proven ability to build IT processes from the ground up and implement industry best practices.
- Direct experience with SOC2 compliance processes and procedures.
- Strong technical proficiency with MacOS and Apple hardware.
- Hands-on experience managing SSO/SAML solutions like Okta.
- Experience configuring and managing Google Workspace.
- Proficiency in device management using tools such as Jamf.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across different functional teams.
