Our goal is to enable real-time manufacturing of complex micro-devices at any scale, from medical micro-robotics to advanced RF switching components. We are currently scaling our operations and building a platform that will redefine the future of hardware production. If you are passionate about technology and want to help us build the next generation of machines, we would love to have you join our team.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior IT Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. This is an on-site position based in California, where you will play a critical role in managing our IT and DevOps infrastructure. You will be responsible for overseeing our technical environment across our offices in Berkeley and Santa Clara, ensuring that our rapidly growing startup has the tools and support it needs to succeed.
What will you do?
- Take charge of our SaaS applications by managing access, provisioning, and the full on-boarding and off-boarding lifecycle for our team.
- Provide hands-on IT support for essential cloud-based tools like Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Atlassian, Gitlab, and Airtable.
- Drive operational efficiency by automating IT processes and developing clear runbooks and playbooks to streamline our daily workflows.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in IT systems administration and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
- You have 5 to 8 years of experience in an IT role and hold a BA or BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- You are comfortable working on-site in Santa Clara with the flexibility to travel to our Berkeley office when needed.
- You possess a deep understanding of Information Security, SaaS management, and advanced troubleshooting across Mac OS, Linux, and Windows environments.
- You have excellent communication skills in English and a talent for creating clear documentation and project plans.
- You are eager to learn new technologies and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can take ownership of your work.
- A background in DevOps, scripting with Python or Bash, and experience with AWS or security compliance frameworks is considered a significant plus.
