About the Role
We are seeking a Senior IT Compliance Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. This role is essential for designing, supporting, and developing an IT compliance framework that aligns with our global standards. You will act as a champion for best practices, engaging with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and ensure our business processes remain robust, secure, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the ISO27001 framework by managing internal audits, implementing necessary changes, and following the Plan, Do, Check, Act cycle to ensure ongoing improvement.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and governance for IT security, including GDPR compliance, security patch management for our hardware estate, and the Configuration Management Database.
- Proactively monitor our local IT compliance framework, identify areas for improvement, and deliver projects that align local policies with our overarching corporate standards.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Alternatively, we welcome candidates with a degree in Business Administration who have a strong background in IT and relevant information security certifications like CISMP or SSCP. You should bring the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrable experience with information security frameworks such as ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials.
- Solid knowledge of IT system security configurations, corporate governance, and GDPR requirements.
- Experience with Microsoft audit tools, such as SCCM and Intune, is highly desirable.
- A logical, analytical mindset with the ability to communicate effectively and engage with end-users.
- A proactive, enthusiastic approach to problem-solving and a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
Location
This position is based in Milton Keynes and offers a hybrid work arrangement.
