Launch Housing is an independent community organization based in Melbourne, dedicated to the mission of ending homelessness. We provide high-quality housing alongside an innovative range of support, education, and employment services to thousands of individuals experiencing or at risk of the trauma of homelessness. With a team of over 400 staff across 16 metropolitan locations, we combine direct action with advocacy and research to drive meaningful change. We are currently seeking a Senior IT Business Partner to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity at our Collingwood head office, with the expectation of working across our various sites.
Key outcomes
- Manage project governance from initial scoping through to final implementation.
- Provide regular project reporting to ensure key stakeholders and committees remain updated on timelines.
- Identify, document, and proactively address project risks.
- Ensure projects are delivered on budget and on schedule while meeting all scoped deliverables.
- Engage with business stakeholders to refine roadmap initiatives and prioritize them based on organizational criticality.
- Develop consistent business cases to secure necessary budget approvals.
- Review and select the best-fit partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IT team.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships across the organization.
- Uphold the Child Safe Code of Conduct and ensure these standards are integrated into daily operational practices.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or 5 to 10 years of relevant IT and business experience, including at least 2 years of leadership experience and 3 years of strategic planning or project portfolio execution.
- A formal certificate in Project Management.
- Proven success in managing complex projects and conceptualizing IT solutions that align with business needs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate business processes and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Demonstrated expertise in business development and vendor management, including SLA monitoring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong commitment to the mission and values of Launch Housing.
- Proficiency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- A valid Victorian driver’s license.
