About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on IT and Security Operations Manager to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing our IT operations and information security functions. You will manage a small team, guide our security compliance strategy, and play a pivotal role in our ongoing FedRAMP authorization efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of IT and security professionals while balancing workloads to ensure alignment with our organizational goals.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for security frameworks, including SOC2, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53, while maintaining our authorization packages and audit documentation.
- Manage our internal IT infrastructure and key SaaS platforms, such as Okta, GSuite, Slack, and Kandji, to ensure our employees have a secure and efficient work environment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong blend of technical expertise and program management skills. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in IT or security, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management position.
- Proven track record of managing security compliance frameworks like FedRAMP, SOC2, or NIST 800-53.
- Technical proficiency with Mac OS X, mobile device management solutions, and cloud-based environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- A demonstrated ability to manage both high-level strategy and day-to-day operational tasks.
Location
This position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere.
Compensation and Benefits
