We are Seam, a company dedicated to simplifying how developers connect and manage smart devices like locks, thermostats, and intercoms. Backed by prominent investors including Tiger Global and leaders from Stripe, Plaid, and Airbnb, we are looking for a Senior iOS Mobile SDK Platform Engineer to help us automate the physical world.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust iOS SDKs that interface with BLE and NFC technologies.
Enable seamless IoT mobile application experiences across a variety of devices.
Contribute to the optimization of our core API by working with Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
Partner with our engineering, product, and design teams to define requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
Lead testing efforts to ensure high code quality, reliability, and performance.
Create comprehensive documentation and tutorials to support our growing developer community.

Must-haves

At least 4 years of professional experience in mobile development.
Deep expertise in Swift and iOS application development.
Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL.
Proven experience in building Mobile SDKs, CI/CD pipelines, and development workflows.
Strong background in backend testing practices, including unit and integration testing.
A track record of improving developer productivity and software quality.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Practical experience working with BLE and NFC technologies on mobile platforms.
Previous experience in growth-stage or large-scale company environments.
A strong interest in the IoT space and hardware integration.

Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000 USD per year, plus equity.
