About the Role
We are hiring a Lead iOS Developer on a contractor basis. In this position you will design, build, and maintain advanced iOS applications while collaborating closely with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to deliver polished, user-centered features.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced iOS applications using Swift and Xcode, ensuring code remains clean, reusable, and scalable.
- Implement responsive interfaces, animations, and layouts with UIKit or SwiftUI while integrating RESTful APIs and JSON data from backend systems.
- Conduct code reviews, debug issues, run tests, optimize performance, and ensure every release meets App Store guidelines for reliability and security.
Requirements
- At least ten years of hands-on iOS development experience with deep expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Xcode.
- Strong command of iOS architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or Clean Architecture, along with proven experience consuming REST APIs and working with JSON.
- Familiarity with Git or Bitbucket for version control, solid debugging and performance-tuning skills, and the ability to communicate clearly while working fully remote.
- Understanding of Apple’s design guidelines and App Store submission processes.
