What you bring

As an intern on our Technology team, you will work alongside software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to develop human-centric solutions. This on-site internship is designed for students who are eager to explore how technology can empower communities and drive systemic progress. Your primary responsibilities will include the following:

• Researching emerging technology and AI policy trends through various reports, webinars, and learning sessions.
• Analyzing data regarding technology adoption within the social sector to provide actionable insights.
• Supporting the planning and execution of events that bring technologists together for networking and knowledge-sharing.

This position is based in New York, NY.

Requirements

We are looking for a rising undergraduate junior or senior who possesses a strong interest in the intersection of technology and social good. You should be a proactive learner with an insatiable curiosity about how data can foster positive change. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using tools like Asana, as well as a high level of attention to detail. You must be comfortable communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing. Please note that this role requires you to be up to date on COVID vaccinations, in accordance with current CDC guidelines.

What we offer

We value the contributions of our interns and provide a compensation rate of 40000 USD for the duration of the program. Beyond the salary, we strive to support our team members throughout their time with us. Our program includes the following:

• A structured eight-week experience running from June 9th to August 1st, 2025.
• Potential travel and housing allowances for those who qualify.
• The opportunity to collaborate with affiliate partners such as XQ Institute, E Pluribus Unum, and Chicago CRED.
