If you are a student looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment, you will find a home here among colleagues who value curiosity and collaborative problem-solving.
The opportunity
We are looking for a talented intern to join our Quantitative Developer team for the summer of 2024. This is an on-site role based in China where you will contribute directly to our core mission. You will work closely with our quantitative engineering and research experts to build and refine the software solutions that power our alpha generation, systematic trading, and risk management operations. It is a unique chance to see how your code directly influences global trading systems.
A day in the life
- You will design, build, and optimize high-performance systems used for global trading and backtesting.
- You will integrate our research and trading platforms with major cloud environments like AWS and GCP.
- You will enhance our machine learning training pipelines and improve the systems responsible for real-time model serving.
Who you are
You are a student currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, math, physics, or statistics at a top-tier university. You have a strong technical foundation and a collaborative spirit. To succeed in this role, you should bring the following:
- Expertise in Python or another modern, general-purpose programming language.
- Proficiency in a statically typed language such as C++ or Java.
- Experience with Unix-based operating systems and Shell scripting.
- A solid understanding of how to design scalable, distributed algorithms.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for solving complex problems.
It is a bonus if you have previous experience in a quantitative trading firm or have worked with large-scale datasets and production-grade machine learning infrastructure.
Why you'll love it here
Joining us means stepping into a culture that prioritizes learning and technical excellence. You will have the opportunity to work with a sophisticated technology stack and gain hands-on experience in risk management and systematic trading. We provide a supportive environment where your contributions are valued and your professional development is a priority throughout your internship.
