The role
We are seeking a Senior Interactive Designer to join our team for a 3-month contract. This is an on-site position based in Germany, Spain, or the United Kingdom. You will be instrumental in redesigning our website and marketing surfaces, ensuring that our platform’s first impression is as powerful and flexible as the tools we provide. Upon successful completion of this project, there is a potential opportunity to transition into a full-time role.
Core responsibilities
- Partner with our product, marketing, and engineering teams to design exceptional, high-impact experiences for the Picsart website.
- Develop and maintain a robust design system that ensures a unified and scalable digital presence.
- Collaborate directly with developers to build interactive, responsive web applications that bridge the gap between user discovery and platform engagement.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should bring a deep background in visual design and a collaborative mindset.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in visual design for the web.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise in interactive sites and design systems.
- Proven proficiency in front-end development, with a focus on building responsive web applications and interactive prototypes.
- A solid grasp of core design principles, including typography, layout, color theory, and composition.
- A deep understanding of interface design, specifically how motion and various viewport sizes impact the user experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Fluency in English.
