Picsart is looking for a Freelance Interactive Designer to become a part of our design team for a 3-month project.
As an Interactive Designer at Picsart, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating a unified, beautiful experience that showcases the power, flexibility, and innovation of our platform. This role is essential to shaping the first impression of Picsart for millions of visitors and ensuring a seamless journey as users explore and use our platform.
Your focus will be to work with our product and brand teams to redesign our website and other marketing web surfaces. There is a possibility of joining full-time after completion of the project.

You will
- Collaborate with design, marketing, product, and engineering teams to craft exceptional experiences for Picsart’s website
- Help expand and maintain a flexible design system for Picsart’s digital presence
- Work closely with developers to create interactive, engaging experiences that bridge the gap between learning about and using Picsart
- Champion the Picsart brand and ensure consistent application of design across all user touchpoints
- Iterate on design based on experimentation, user behavior insights, and feedback
- Define and refine how design elements behave across different web surfaces to deliver a cohesive experience at scale
- Actively contribute to design discussions, critiques, and team reviews
About you
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in visual design for web
- Strong understanding of design principles such as typography, color theory, layout, and composition
- Passion for web design as a medium, supported by a portfolio of work on interactive sites, and design systems
- Excellent front-end development experience, especially with building responsive web applications or prototyping interactive designs
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative spirit
- Strong knowledge of interface design and how factors like motion and viewport sizes affect user experience
- Curiosity about the latest design technologies and trends, paired with the ability to establish a unique, recognizable style
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, translating business goals and user needs into compelling design solutions
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage projects independently in a fast-paced, growing company

- Deep understanding of design systems and their role in creating cohesive user experiences
- Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and features
