Key outcomes
- Maintain and optimize our enterprise integration middleware, specifically Infor ION, by adhering to best practices and global standards.
- Collaborate with internal architects, developers, and external partners to design and implement connections between ERP, eCommerce, order management, and warehouse systems.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, including creating technical specifications, developing integrations, and performing comprehensive testing.
- Lead efforts to replace legacy, point-to-point integrations with modern, enterprise-standard architecture.
- Provide global first-line support for middleware, resolving support tickets and conducting root-cause analysis on system failures.
- Ensure all technical deliveries and system upgrades follow ITIL-based change control processes.
- Develop and maintain thorough documentation, including system context diagrams, business process flows, and integration mappings.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure system resilience.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in Java programming, including familiarity with integration concepts like EDI, JSON, XML, APIs, Web Services, and middleware.
- A minimum of 3 years of engineering experience working with industry-standard middleware platforms.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Infor ION and M3 E-Collaborator (MEC) design and deployment.
- Expertise in using SQL to query databases for research and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a persistent approach to identifying root causes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of ITIL service management frameworks.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset and the availability to provide after-hours support when necessary.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Infor M3 Grid and LifeCycle Manager.
- Experience with Opentext Streamserve for M3 output management.
- Prior experience working within the retail or fashion industry.
