About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Instrument Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. This hybrid role focuses on building our signature Kontakt instrument products. You will work both internally and alongside external partners to develop cutting-edge sample instruments while refining the technologies that make instrument building more efficient for the entire industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative virtual instruments that honor our heritage while exploring new creative horizons.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality products.
• Champion engineering best practices by creating documentation, supporting partners, and contributing to the evolution of our instrument creation workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience in team-based software development, preferably within an agile environment.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, with a specific interest in musical instrument scripting such as KSP.
• Practical experience with computer music production and digital audio workstations.
• Familiarity with standard development tools like Git and Jira.
• Strong English communication skills and a genuine passion for collaborative, cross-disciplinary teamwork.
