Instructional Designer at Roadie

We are looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to join our team at Roadie, a UPS company. We operate a leading logistics and delivery platform that helps businesses navigate modern retail through unmatched coverage, reaching 97% of U.S. households across more than 30,000 zip codes.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Customer Experience stakeholders to assess needs, define learning objectives, and select the best strategies for our teams.
• Develop and implement diverse instructional content, such as digital materials, tutorials, videos, and job aids, using established design principles.
• Build interactive learning experiences that accommodate various styles and preferences.
• Evaluate the impact of training programs to ensure they deliver measurable results.
• Refine and update materials based on feedback from facilitators and data analysis.
• Keep up with industry trends and new technologies to ensure our learning solutions remain innovative.
• Partner with external vendors when necessary to supplement our internal resources.
• Advise internal teams on best practices for instructional design.

Must-haves

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Sciences, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in instructional design, e-learning development, and instructor-led training.
• Deep understanding of adult learning theory, instructional technology, and learning evaluation.
• Practical experience working with Learning Management Systems and Content Management Systems.
• Strong project management abilities, including the capacity to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on using data to drive learning strategies.
• A proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency using Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Reach.
• Experience with Vyond or similar animation and video software.
