The role
We are looking for a mid-level Instructional Designer to join us on a full-time basis. This is an on-site position based in Uruguay. In this role, you will act as a true advocate for our users, translating intricate technical concepts into accessible and engaging learning experiences. You will be an integral part of our global technical training team, collaborating with experts to shape how our customers interact with our technology.
Core responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop online courses with minimal supervision, ensuring all content aligns with our department standards.
- Manage the full lifecycle of training content, which includes updating existing materials for new product releases and creating entirely new modules.
- Handle technical production tasks, such as editing video recordings, managing project workflows in Azure DevOps, and publishing final courses to our LMS.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should be a self-motivated learner with a passion for technology. We value candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a technical trainer within a software or technology company.
- Strong proficiency in Articulate 360 for course authoring.
- Experience with video recording and editing tools, such as Techsmith Camtasia, and screen capture software like Techsmith Snagit.
- A solid grasp of Microsoft O365 applications, particularly SharePoint, Teams, and Word.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to organize complex information into coherent, user-friendly training paths.
- Fluency in English to effectively collaborate with our global team and interview subject matter experts.
- A deep understanding of software concepts and a track record of gathering information from technical stakeholders.
