If you are a leader with a deep technical background and a passion for architectural excellence, we would love to have you help us shape the future of our data strategy.
What you'll be doing
- You will lead large, diverse technical teams to design and implement robust data warehouse, datamart, and big data environments.
- You will oversee the end-to-end architecture of our information delivery systems, ensuring that data quality, lineage, and audit processes are integrated into every layer of our infrastructure.
- You will drive data discovery and mining initiatives, applying advanced analytical techniques to transform complex, multi-dimensional datasets into meaningful insights for various business user groups.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong command of the English language and the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of professional architecture experience within large-scale organizations.
- At least 10 years of specialized experience supporting data warehouse, datamart, business intelligence, and big data environments.
- Expertise in data modeling for both relational and dimensional databases, as well as proficiency with application modeling tools like IDA and RSA.
- Practical knowledge of NoSQL environments, metadata management, and semantic data solutions.
- A deep understanding of data mining, data enrichment, and complex source-to-target mapping techniques.
- Experience with UML component modeling, architectural rationalization, and the ability to bridge the gap between high-level design and technical implementation.
- Familiarity with data science processes, including working within sandbox environments and handling structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data.
What you'll get
As a full-time member of our team, you will work on-site in our Hartford office. You will have the opportunity to influence the architectural direction of a major player in the insurance and healthcare sector, working alongside talented professionals to solve some of the most challenging problems in data analytics today.
