cbs Malaysia serves as the regional arm of cbs, a prominent international consultancy based in Heidelberg, Germany. We specialize in providing high-end technology and consulting services to major industrial corporations that utilize SAP. We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Executive to join our team in Kuala Lumpur and help drive our expansion throughout the APAC region. In this role, you will build and nurture relationships with both our partners and clients. We are committed to your professional development and will provide comprehensive training in our products and sales techniques to help you succeed in the IT services sector.

Key outcomes

  • Cultivate a robust sales pipeline by identifying business needs and fostering strong customer relationships.
  • Design and execute a structured calling strategy for both prospective and current clients across the APAC market.
  • Manage inbound and outbound communications via phone, email, and digital platforms to qualify leads and meet established sales goals.
  • Take ownership of lead tracking and follow-up processes with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure the integrity of our CRM database by updating interactions and managing data accuracy.
  • Deliver consistent progress reports to management on a weekly basis.
  • Demonstrate a track record of sales success, such as securing consistent appointments or contributing to revenue growth.
  • Maintain high performance in a deskbound, digital-focused sales environment.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Studies, Communication, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in sales, specifically within telemarketing or cold calling.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
  • A self-motivated, persuasive, and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • A professional, energetic, and proactive approach to business development.

Preferred qualifications

  • Proficiency in the Mandarin language is considered a distinct advantage for this role.
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly the ability to facilitate engaging remote sessions or digital workshops.
