We are driven by curiosity and a deep commitment to leaving the world cleaner than we found it. If you want to combine innovative technology with a meaningful mission, we invite you to join our team and become a part of the #InstaCrew.
What you bring
As a Senior Inhouse Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our Engineering and Product Development departments. Based at our location in Germany, you will bridge the gap between our internal repair center and our product development teams, ensuring that our systems are designed for serviceability from the very beginning. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will:
- Lead our service team and oversee the technical and organizational growth of our repair center while acting as a key liaison to our international service partners.
- Develop comprehensive repair concepts for new products and validate these strategies during the initial industrialization and field-testing phases.
- Act as a primary technical expert for our customer support team, creating training materials and conducting workshops to solve complex technical challenges.
Requirements
We are looking for a dedicated professional with a degree in electrical engineering, such as a B.Sc., M.Sc., or Dipl.-Ing. You should have at least three years of relevant experience in service or engineering, ideally with a background in battery systems. You possess a strong ability to analyze unknown error patterns, classify technical issues, and translate them into efficient, actionable workflows. A solid understanding of how software and hardware interact within embedded systems is essential. You are a structured, self-driven individual who thrives in cross-functional environments. Because we operate globally, you must be fluent in both German and English. You should also be comfortable working from our primary site and occasionally traveling internationally.
What we offer
We value our team members and provide a supportive environment that balances professional growth with personal well-being. Our benefits include:
- Flexible working hours to help you manage your schedule.
- Commuter benefits, including coverage for the Deutschlandticket.
- 30 days of annual leave, plus 5 special leave days for personal occasions and 5 days of baby leave.
- Access to employee discounts at various sustainable online shops.
- Your choice of operating system, whether you prefer MacOS or Windows.
- Regular networking events and happy hours to connect with your colleagues.
