What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Mountain View. We believe that innovation happens best when we are together, so this role requires working from our office five days a week. You will be joining a company focused on a massive, growing market that is projected to reach at least $500 billion by 2030.
What will you do?
- Design and evolve scalable, reliable distributed systems to address complex challenges within our observability platform.
- Take ownership of the core infrastructure that monitors our business-critical applications and work to improve its overall performance.
- Create infrastructure abstractions that simplify processes and enhance the observability of our services.
What makes you a great fit?
You are a passionate engineer with at least 5 years of experience in backend development, ideally using Go or Java. You thrive when solving diverse technical problems and have a proven history of professional growth. We value individuals who take ownership of their work and take pride in writing clean, maintainable code. You should be comfortable diving deep into open-source software to identify and resolve issues. While not required, we would love to see experience with Rust, Kubernetes, and PSQL.
